At ABA Positive Support Services, our mission is to empower children and their families across Hawaii’s Oahu through compassionate implementation of applied behavior analysis.

We Are Providing an Environment for Our Clients to Grow & Excel
ABA Positive Support Services is a Hawaii based company serving Oahu. We provide in home and in the community services. This allows your child to learn the skills they need in the environment in which they need them. Our services are provided in an array of locations. For example; A+ programs, CDC centers, private schools, summer fun, soccer practice, gymnastics, grocery stores and restaurants. We also support children and their families in the home school environment. ABA Positive Support Services is a small company with a personal touch. Dr. Catherine Wilson, the company’s founder, is intimately involved in all aspects of the daily operations. She has lived in Hawaii since 1997 and is easily accessible. We know that choosing a provider for your child is a very important decision and we are here to answer any question you might have.

Our Team

Catherine Wilson
Founder
Catherine Wilson, PsyD, BCBA, LBA, LMHC founded Positive Support Services and continues to be intimately involved in every detail of the business ensuring high quality service delivery. Her passion for ABA was found at Western Michigan University where she was fortunate to study with Dr. Richard Malott, a premier behavior analyst. She has been certified as a behavior analyst since 1996. Catherine Wilson has many years of experience implementing ABA with children in-home, school, and community environments. Catherine has lived in Hawaii since 1997. She has collaborated effectively with Tricare, HMSA, Kaiser, Hawaii’s Department of Education, and Department of Health since that time. Catherine’s license in mental health counseling and doctorate in psychology has bridged that gap between real people and ABA programing.

Melissa Urquidi, MSc, BCBA
BCBA Supervisor
Melissa Urquidi has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2013. She has years of experience working with children and adults with autism and developmental delays in a wide variety of settings.
She studied ABA abroad at Bangor University where she acquired her MSc in behavior analysis.

Somarrey Prum, MA, BCBA
BCBA Supervisor
Somarrey Prum is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working with individuals, ages 2-22, diagnosed with autism and developmental delays since 2015. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. She then continued to study Professional Behavior Analysis and completed her Masters of Arts at the Florida Institute of Technology.
